Antara Deb is a proud immigrant to Canada since 2008 and a resident of Burnaby since 2014. She is an IT Advisor, community champion, and passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion.
With a professional background in Architecture and Information Technology, Antara has built her career while dedicating her life to serving the local community. As a Board Director at New Vista Society, supporting affordable housing and better care for seniors, and has been actively involved in anti-racism advocacy and community initiatives across Burnaby.

A single mother and survivor, Antara has turned life’s challenges into strength. She has dedicated her time to supporting women, seniors, and families, always standing for fairness, equal opportunity, and respect for all. She has also served as a United Way Community Champion and ran for Burnaby City Council to bring forward diverse voices and perspectives.
She is a recipient of the Community Special Contribution Award and has been honored as Brand Ambassador of International World Canada and Most Influential Woman of the Year.
