Arrival of “Vancouver Ka Raja” a term generally used for Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations in various cities in India. On a similar pattern various Indian community organizations came together to celebrate Ganesh Utsav 2025 in Metro Vancouver which took place on August 28-29, 2025 at Mangal Bhawan, Langley.
Thousands of devotees came for Ganpati Darshan and participated in the festival. An event page Ganesh Chaturthi Utsav Metro Vancouver posted beautiful pictures of the event.
The 2 days celebrations included:
- Vedic chanting & traditional pūjā rituals
- Bhajans & Kirtan that filled the air with devotion
- Cultural performances showcasing our heritage
- Prasadam distribution with love and warmth
- Significance of Ganesh Chaturthi beautifully explained
- A heartfelt Ganapati Visarjan that brought the celebrations to a divine close
With an India-style pandal set up in the park and hundreds of devotees joining, this was more than just a festival, it was a moment of unity, devotion, and community spirit.
The Pandal echoed with the voices of “Ganpati Bappa Morya”!
